Initial Setup and Finger Registration

Power On the Scooter

A blue flashing light indicates the scanner is active.

Check for Existing Fingerprints

Tap your finger on the scanner. A green light means no fingerprints are registered yet.

Register Your Finger

Hold the finger you want to register on the reader until a solid blue light appears. This puts the scanner into programming mode.

Keep pressing that finger repeatedly until the light turns light blue.

Your finger is now registered.

Test the Fingerprint

Power the scooter off and back on.

Test the registered finger to unlock.

Any unregistered finger will show a red light.

Registering Additional Fingers

Turn the scooter off and on.

Unlock with a registered finger.

Hold the registered finger on the scanner for ~5 seconds until the light turns solid blue (registration mode).

Touch the scanner with a new finger until the light turns light blue.

Power off and on. Both fingers should now be registered.

The scanner can store up to 10 fingerprints.

Unregistering All Fingerprints

Power the scooter off and on.

Unlock with a registered finger and release.

Hold that finger on the scanner for 10 seconds until the light turns red.

This resets the scanner to factory settings.

You can now start registering fingerprints from scratch.
Resetting Fingerprints via Scanner Button

There is a reset button inside the scanner.

Press and hold it for 20 seconds to clear all stored fingerprints.
