RS Midnight Parts Replacement Guide
This video provides a complete step-by-step tutorial for replacing all major components of the Inmotion RS Midnight scooter. Follow along with the timestamps below to find the section you need:
1. Twist Throttle
Disassembly:

Use an air gun to blow out the left twist throttle.

With pliers, unscrew the fixing screw of the right twist throttle and disconnect the connecting wire.

Pull out the throttle and remove its internal bundling.
Installation:

Assemble the internal and external parts of the throttle bundling, then tap them into place with a rubber mallet (right side).
-
Insert the twist throttle into the handlebar screw hole, align the screw, and tighten the joint connection (arrow to arrow).
-
Fit the left twist throttle using a rubber mallet (left side).
Notes:
-
Ensure the throttle direction is correct and sits flush with the handlebar (no gaps).
-
Confirm the connecting wire is properly inserted to maintain normal function.
2. Power Switch Button
Disassembly:

Disconnect the switch connector.
-
Unscrew the retaining screw and remove the clip.
Installation:

Insert the clip into the handlebar and tighten the screw with a wrench to secure the switch.

Connect the joints with matching arrows.
Notes:

The switch must face upward (not upside down).
-
Arrow alignment is necessary for proper operation.
3. Left and Right Hydraulic Brakes

4. Left and Right Turn Signals
Disassembly:

Disconnect the connectors.
-
Loosen the fixing screws with a wrench and remove the turn signals.
Installation:

Place turn signals into the handlebar slots and secure with screws.

Connect the signal wires with arrows aligned.
Notes:

Do not reverse left and right signals.
-
Ensure a secure fit to avoid malfunction.
5. LCD Screen
Disassembly:

Disconnect the display connector.
-
Loosen the screws securing the LCD.
Installation:

Insert the LCD into the handlebar slot and secure with screws.

Connect the display connector (arrow to arrow).
Notes:

Pay attention to logo orientation; do not install upside down.

Proper connector alignment is crucial.
6. Headlight Switch
Disassembly:

Disconnect the connector.
-
Loosen the screw with pliers and remove the switch.
Installation:

Fit the switch into the handlebar clamp, then tighten with pliers.

Connect the wires (arrow to arrow).
Notes:

Ensure the connector is inserted straight, not crooked.

The switch should feel firm, not loose.
7. Folding Assembly
Disassembly:

Open the folding mechanism and lay the upright tube flat.

Loosen and remove the locking screws and spring.
Installation:

Insert the spring into the folding mechanism and neck tube.
-
Align holes, insert the locking screw, and tighten with thread adhesive.
-
Lock the upright tube into place and confirm stability.
Notes:

Springs must be seated securely.
-
No shaking should occur once tightened.
-
Always apply thread adhesive to lock screws.
8. Front Headlight
Disassembly:

Disconnect the headlight connector.
-
Unscrew the headlight mounting bracket.
Installation:

Mount the headlight to the body and tighten screws.
-
Connect wires with arrows aligned.
Notes:

Ensure connectors are not misaligned.
9. Horn
Disassembly:

Remove the rear control cover (4 screws).
-
Disconnect the horn wire and unscrew the horn.
Installation:

Secure the horn bracket with screws.
-
Connect the horn connector (arrow to arrow).
-
Reinstall the rear cover and tighten screws diagonally.
Notes:

Horn must not wobble.
-
Wires should not be pinched during reassembly.
10. Strobe Lights
Disassembly:

Remove decorative plastic panels and foot pad.

Disconnect strobe connectors.
-
Unscrew and remove strobe lights.
Installation:

Secure each strobe with its bracket.
-
Connect wires by alignment markings.
-
Reassemble cover plate and decorative panels.

Lights must be firm, no shaking.

11. Battery
Disassembly:

Remove decorative covers and foot pad.

Disconnect 5 connectors.

Carefully lift battery out.
Installation:
