Removing Stripped Screws

Issue

Screws may become stripped, making removal difficult.

Solution

1. Use a T40 Star Bit:

   • Lightly hammer the T40 star bit into the stripped screw.

   • Turn carefully to remove the screw.

2. Alternative – Flathead Bit:

   • If the star bit doesn’t work, lightly hammer a flathead screwdriver into the stripped screw.

   • Try to twist and remove it.

Tip: Apply steady pressure and ensure the bit is well-seated in the screw to avoid further damage.
